Traditional interpretation, written by the site; not AI generated: the displayed Ascendant starts house 1. Find Venus in the table and count from that sign to connect its sign and house. In D4, Venus is traditionally discussed in relation to comfort and the home; in D9, partnership and planetary condition are common themes. These symbols do not predict investment returns or guarantee relationship outcomes.
How to read your D4 chart
Use the calculated sign table first. The following points describe a traditional interpretive framework, not verified forecasts.
- Start with the D4 Ascendant and count signs forward to identify houses.
- Find the 4th house and its ruler; traditional readings connect these with home and residence.
- Locate Venus and Mars in the sign table; they are traditionally associated with comfort and land.
- Compare the same themes with D1 rather than treating a single placement as a prediction.
- Check birth-time accuracy and calculation settings before interpreting a difference between tools.
Calculation method and limits
D4 divides each 30° sign into four 7°30′ segments. Traditional Parasara assigns them to the original sign and the 4th, 7th and 10th signs from it. Both planets and the Ascendant use this rule.
Check the recorded birth time, birthplace, time zone and ayanamsa before comparing tools. Small time differences can change divisional placements. Calculated positions, traditional explanations and optional AI reports are different kinds of information; none guarantees a future event.

What does the D4 Chaturthamsa chart show?
D4 divides each sign into four 7°30′ portions. Traditional astrology uses it to discuss home, land and family resources; these associations do not establish future property ownership or investment returns.
How is D4 calculated?
The traditional Parasara quarters map to the original sign and the fourth, seventh and tenth signs from it. The same rule applies to planets and the Ascendant.
Can I use D4 without an exact birth time?
Time uncertainty can change the Ascendant and planetary divisions. When time is unknown this tool uses noon as an estimate and hides the divisional Ascendant and houses. Do not treat the remaining signs as a precise prediction.
